Indoor Bowling Club

The Seaton Ross Indoor Bowling Club has now enjoyed more than 10 years of bowling both as a social activity and as part of the Selby Short Mat Bowling League.

It provides members with year round bowling in the Village Hall with some people choosing to play competitively in the Selby league matches during the winter months.

Social bowling takes place on most Sunday afternoons at 2.00pm – 4.00pm (We take a break in August.).  Come along to the Village Hall to try your hand-eye coordination.  There is far more skill to the game than you may think at first.

We would be delighted to give coaching to anybody wishing to take up the game.  Bowling is suitable for all ages and abilities and provides a relaxed atmosphere together with gentle exercise.  Taster sessions are free and there is no membership fee.  There is a charge of £2.50 per player, per session (to cover the cost of hiring the Village Hall).  Initially all equipment is provided including a selection of bowling woods, however we would appreciate you wearing flat-soled shoes on the mats.
