The People’s Pantry is open to everyone in need of help to support themselves and their families. It is a not for profit enterprise ran by volunteers and is a member of FareShare (a charity aimed at relieving food poverty and reducing food waste in the UK). Membership is being sponsored by the Pocklington District Lions Club.
The People’s Pantry in Holme-on-Spalding Moor is a delivery service: If anyone is in need, they can contact Revd. Stephen Cope on any day with a shopping list and he (or another volunteer) will deliver. Donations of non-perishable food, cleaning materials and toiletries can be dropped off at Margaret’s DIY in Holme-on-Spalding Moore, at the back of Seaton Ross church (when open), or on the Vicarage doorstep: the Vicarage, Market Weighton Road, Holme-on-Spalding Moor.
If any resident of Seaton Ross would like to use the pantry, please phone the Reverend Stephen Cope on 01430 626728. Your application will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
