Tour de Yorkshire coming to Seaton Ross

Riders will be cycling through Seaton Ross on Thursday 3rd May 2018.

The Village Hall will be open to provide a vantage point to view the men’s and women’s races and for refreshments.  Please help us to welcome the riders, visitors and media by decorating the Village. The Village Hall will be decorated outside with blue and yellow bunting and hopes to make an outline of a giant windmill to be seen from the air.

So join us at the Village Hall for coffee / tea and cake between 9.15am – 11.00am and 3.15pm – 5.00pm and have a Grandstand view of the peloton going around the Church corner and share the experience with the community.  Parking will be available in the field next to the Village Hall.

  • Women’s race – peloton expected between 10.10am and 10.20 am.
  • Men’s race – peleton expected between 4.20pm and 4.34pm.

Race caravans, police motorbikes and a fleet of Yorkshire cycling legends will precede the race.  There will be rolling road closures lasting no more than an hour, probably 45 minutes.
