Review of Bus Services for the East Riding of Yorkshire – Public Consultation 2016

Bus consultation

From the East Riding of Yorkshire Council…

The Review of Bus Services for the East Riding of Yorkshire public consultation is now underway and will run until Sunday 28th August 2016.

We are asking members of the public to complete a questionnaire, either on-line, over the telephone by requesting a paper copy or by attending one of the drop-in events being held.

By far the best ways to let us know you thoughts is by completing the questionnaire online by accessing “Have Your Say” which is available on the East Riding of Yorkshire Council website, and can be found on using the link below.

We are also holding a number of drop-in events* and rural village BusIT events across the East Riding enabling people to come and talk to us and complete the questionnaire. A list of all the events and rural BusIT events can also be obtained by calling the help line on 01482-395008.

The consultation and how people can be involved will also be advertised on buses and bus stops and other prominent places throughout the consultation period.

A poster publicising the consultation and letting you know the dates and times of the drop-in events and rural village BusIT locations will be sent to each Parish Clerk, and we would ask that it be displayed on your parish notice board. If you would like any more copies to display please contact us.

We have set up a dedicated telephone helpline and email address which is available for the public user to to access further information, find out how they can be involved or to find out the dates and times of the drop-in events we are holding across the East Riding. The help line number is 01482-395008. The email address is

*There will be a drop-in session at Seaton Ross Village Hall on Friday, August 19 at 1.30-2.30pm.
