To keep this valuable community group going we are appealing for leaders, assistant leaders, committee members and parent / adult helpers.
If help is not found this term then unfortunately the group may have to close. This would be most unfortunate for the cubs, the community and local children who may wish to join when they are of age.
Cubs (8-10½ years) take part in a wide range of activities designed to be interesting and challenging.
A Cub meeting consists of games and activities with plenty of time spent outdoors. The Cub camps are some of the most memorable events of the year for a cub.
Cubs meet every Thursday at Melbourne Scout Hut from 6.45pm till 8.15pm. Boys and girls are welcome.
There are currently 24 cubs in the group. Our leader needs assistant leaders and parent / adult helpers to run the group ASAP. All training is provided free of charge. The more leaders the better as the role can be shared.
The Melbourne Scout Hut Committee require new committee members to help in the running of the facility as well as people to help maintain the building.
Please make contact if you would like to get involved – no matter how much or how little time you can spare your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
